ALL RED! Genuine Cherry BAKELITE Bird Octagonal Poker Chip Button Necklace

This yummy necklace features a centerpiece of a BIRD ON A PERCH OR SWING, done in cherry red Bakelite.
Next to the centerpiece are 2
swirled cherry red RARE OCTAGONAL POKER CHIPS. Then, there are 2 dark red poker chips topped with GUITAR PICKS, the last pair of poker chips are swirled bright red chips with 2 darker red MAH JONG COINS on top. Followed by a pair of TRANSLUCENT CHERRY AMBER chips that are slightly smaller than standard chips, finished with 2 more pairs of mini chips in 2 sizes.
ALL RED and gorgeous!
An eye-catching CHUNKY necklace done with GENUINE, SIMICHROME TESTED, VINTAGE BAKELITE POKER CHIPS and MAH  JONGG COINS and GUITAR PICKS decorated with
MORE Bakelite on black findings, dangling from a BLACK PLASTIC CHAIN.
Everything except the chain, clasp and jump rings is genuine, vintage Bakelite.
The necklace is 20" long with a hook closure. The standard poker chips are 1 1/2" in

I have been collecting Bakelite bits and pieces for years (I just love the look, feel and sound) and have begun concocting these
one of a kind
necklaces when I am pleased with a combination of bits. All the components (poker chips, buckles, buttons, mah-jongg coins, guitar picks, slides, tiddlywinks, etc.) are genuine to the 30's-40's and are Simichrome tested Bakelite. All the Bakelite has had a long life already as something else before it's new life as a spectacular necklace, so there will be some imperfections and wear...CALL IT PATINA! I
have
polished the pieces to reveal all that glorious color. Just think, the poker chips have been played with for 60-70 years since they were made. Oh, the stories they could tell ;0)!
