S96S, Circa 1880's, it's 3 principle wood parts are bound together in a pattern to hold baby wrapped in a blanket, rawhide bindings and native agency linen bunting, wood is crate planking scraped to thickness and smoothed, shows wear and some use, has a pattern of hand drilled holes at top, possibly for holding reeds or grass stalks to create a sun shield, foot rest is made from crate wood too, measures 31.5" long and 11" width, all original and very rare to encounter a specimen this old, outside of a museum.
