Description
CANADABank of Canada
Charlton Catalog: BC-7
Date: 1935
Serial No. A 000005
Grade:
PMG 63 Choice Uncirculated.
The No.5 note of this
series!
Quite possibly the lowest number in private hands?
An incredible piece of Canadian Numismatics history.
The note pictured in the bank of Canada Museum is the No.1 note!
The plate note pictured in the Carlton Standard Catalogue of Canadian Government is
not
a low number!
The French text (BC- 8) in the same catalogue is the No. 9 note!
This note must have been given to someone either very high up in the bank or the Government or
possibly one of the Royals themselves.
An investment piece which simply has zero negatives
against
it.
The grade is completely consistent with the age and the notes position being almost at the top of the pack/bundle.
Its obvious the first low number notes would have been handled in order to get them together as a presentation piece
and sent or given to the recipient who would have handled it themselves and possible given to others to look at.
To top it off a beautiful note with Princess Mary's portrait
This is a note I more than happy to add to my personal portfolio.
The image of the note is the note you will receive.
