Cat & The Fiddle, Wood & Red Bakelite Necklace. I created this necklace for my Uniqlets line using vintage pieces from my collections. I found cat & the fiddle during my many years of collecting Bakelite era wooden jewelry. The whimsy and details always drew me to them. Many designs were actually made in both wood and Bakelite. I have only seen one of this particular character. He has painted blue eyes, a red painted accent on his collar and black feet. His bow is metal. He is mounted on Simichrome tested carved red Bakelite. The pendant is about 2.75” wide by 3” high. It hangs from an unusual modern 16” wood link chain with a 2” metal extender. I make only one of each design so it will be yours alone. Shipped free via USPS First Class Mail.
