Coral Galalith Necklace, ca. 1930s

Description

This lovely art deco era necklace has beads made of galalith, in a peachy coral hue. The beads are carved, some with simple groove carving and others with crescent shapes or overlapping circles. There's an interesting mix of bead shapes, including round, oval, barrel and tulip. There are also some tiny round gold spacer beads, which add a nice contrast but I suspect may not be original to the piece. The necklace is probably restrung, on white string with a brass barrel clasp. It measures about 17" long including hardware.
Condition is excellent with no major issues to note. Some of the little gold spacers are missing spots of their coating/paint. The stringing is secure, as is the barrel clasp.
