    Eskimo Pipe, 19th century. Features a wood stem in two parts, bound with sinew, along with a wood bowl. Lg. 13 in.

    Carroll Richard Thorn Sr. in the early 1900's. Carroll Richard Thorn Sr. owned an extensive pipe collection and was a banker in Sheridan, WY. His father, Joseph Dayton Thorn was a banker and rancher. The town of Dayton, WY was named after Joseph.
