Rare Rousselet 2 Color Bakelite Deeply Carved Bead Necklace France

You are looking at a rare and beautiful bakelite bead & metal necklace. Probably Louis Rousselet Paris although unsigned.
There is lots of fine hand work on this piece.
Typical mixed media beads with detailed metal accents.  He more typically worked with glass and galalith beads however he did also use bakelite.  This necklace has
heavily carved
bakelite beads in 2 different styles and colors.  The sphere shape beads are solid butterscotch color. They have been carved with consecutive facetted steps around the diameter and are capped with half-dome pieces having concentric ribs.  The oblong cylindric beads have carved floral designs. These are a dark chocolate brown. Bakelite beads are  strung on a fine metal chain with gray metal cylindrical beads  in between.  The metal clasp is marked Made in France.  Does not have the "LR".   Round
beads measure 5/8" in diameter,  oblong measure 3/4" long.   The necklace measures 16 1/2inches long.

crew clasp works fine.
In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.   It weighs 63 gr.
Guaranteed vintage bakelite (tested with simichrome).
