This is a superb pair of very large Staffordshire seated white & gilt spaniel dogs with each having wonderful facial decoration & overall portrayals, of which:
During our research we have been informed they cer
tainly date from the 19th century.
Date about c1880s.
White & gilt
in colour.

both have embossed collars, locks and chains with gilt.
Bushy tails.
Wonderful overall portrayals.
Each
has an overall height of about ,12.25inches.
Max overall size of the hollowed bases of about 7.5 x 4in
ches.
Max overall base dias including the bushy tails of about 9.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to the pair is excellent and both are not subject to:
any major blemishes except:
one has a short and fine hairline just above to the tail, side rear.
Due to age both are subject to areas of rubbing to the faces.
