Description

One original  Turkish model 1938 mauser rifle bayonet with scabbard,this one is the turkish model 1938 bayonet,this one is originally a french model 1907 1907/16 bayonet reworked by the turks to fit the model 1938 mauser,measures 25 3/4 inches,blade is 20 1/4 inches,it is brass handled,cruciform epee type blade is good servicable condition,release works smoothly,scabbard is decent,unusual variation of a turkish bayonet,the turks captured a few thousand french bayonets during the galipoli campaign,this could be one of them,they converted most of the rifles to 8mm mauser for the turkish forestry rangers,just decent servicable condition turkish model 1935 mauser bayonets for the model 1893 and 1938 turk mauser rifles and carbines,see my other listings for more turk model 1938 mauser rifle parts and accessories
