    Description

    VINTAGE WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & Co 10" SOLINGEN Chilean Mauser Bayonet, Scabbard. Factory edge has never been sharpened and still in cosmoline. Matching # scabbard with no dents. Very nice example that is at least 120 years old.
    For use with the 7 mm. M1895 Mauser rifle produced for Chile by Ludwig Loewe and
    Deutsche Waffen-Und Munitionsfabriken
    (DWM) in Germany.
    These bayonets were produced from 1895–1901. This example was made by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co. of Solingen, Germany with Krupp steel which is indicated by the 3 interlocking circles/ricassio.
