Item Description:
Simply wonderful genuine antique 1940s Bakelite Olive bead necklace.  Beautiful strand of beads in a warm  Butterscotch Amber color with some reddish marbling on the larger beads. Matching hidden barrel clasp.  It is a chunky and long necklace, measuring 29" in length with the bottom bead being a large 1" across.  It weighs 85.2 grams, so a good weight is present.  It is strung on old string or twine, that is showing its age and I do recommend getting it restrung to wear safely. It is in excellent condition with a bit of string showing as it has stretched over time due to the weight of the beads.  Guaranteed to be vintage bakelite, testing positive with simichrome. A great addition to your collection of costume jewelry.
