Vintage 7 Strand Cherry Bakelite Bead Necklace 195 Gr.
Very pretty piece with nice size 8 mm beards. Beautiful colors of carnelian rust and deep oranges with flashes of dark yellow. I have many Bakelite pieces and this test positive for Bakelite beads and huge clasp with old style hook and eye. Ready-to-wear with no loose slack on six string, no damage, repairs, chips to note. Heavy at 201.9 g. Wearable length is 27 1/2 inches. All the strands are pretty much the same in length but each bead is a little different. This is an older piece and there is slight surface cracking on the clasp but nothing major. Pretty sure this is a Monies necklace but unsigned. Returns cheerfully accepted.
