VINTAGE ART DECO CHERRY/EGG YOLK AMBER BAKELITE MARBLED BEAD NECKLACE: 78g, 24”.
Gorgeous vintage or antique Bakelite (Faturan? French Bakelite?) amber necklace featuring graduated translucent swirled/marbled cherry or cherry juice colored amber Bakelite Beads intermingled with butterscotch or egg yolk amber Bakelite beads. Both show significant marbling, especially on cherry red which is a muted red as pictured. Strung on a cotton look string with some age stretch. Two color/bi color/two tone. Largest bead 26+ mm. Positive Simichrome test and baking soda test verified on both color beads.
