Red Bakelite of pendant passed hot water and Simi-chrome test for Bakelite.  Could not get a positive on the black cameo, which could be celluloid.
I've found that black bakelite is tough to get a positive on, so there is an outside chance it could be.  The beads are a bone shape and are some type of plastic other than Bakelite.
On the back of the red bakelite a previous owner scratched into it "10/31/41 Cade" on a corner.  Has a barrel type of clasp.
Pendant measures approx. 3 1/8" high.
Necklace length measures approx. 19".
Width is approx. 3/8".
Excellent vintage condition!  Shows normal vintage wear.  Red Bakelite has typical oxidation and scratches.
