Vintage Withington Winter Snow Toboggan Sled ~ Made in West Minot, Maine
Vintage Withington Toboggan. Made in West Minot, Maine for the Withington Toy Company, most likely in the 1950s.
The company was founded by Wayne O. Stevens in 1945, after his return from WWII.
They manufactured toboggans, bobsleds, archery sets, and other sporting goods. This well made toboggan would be a great decorative piece in your home. It measures 73 1/4" long and 14 1/4" wide. It is 9 1/2" tall and the front curve. A red, white, and blue nylon steering system rope is attached to the frame. The name "Ives" appears twice on the toboggan.
This piece is in good vintage condition but does show some light signs of wear from age and use. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
