Rare Antique WWI Imperial German Ornate Officer's Sword with Scabbard, Made by Alexander Coppel Solingen Germany
. The Sword Has an Ornate Decorative Reticulated Brass Basket Hilt Cross Guard with Lion Head Pommel, and Wire Wrapped Shaskeen Sharkskin Handle. The Blade is a Fancy Etched Blade, and is Etched on Both Sides with Decorative Designs, and Signed "ACS with Balance Scale", which is the Trademark Logo for Alexander Coppel Solingen. The Sword Measures approx. 37 1/2" Long with a 32" Blade. The Total Length in the Scabbard is Approx. 38 1/2" Long. This is in Good Original Condition as Pictured, with a Nice Aged Patina, and Should Clean Up Nice! This Has the Original Metal Scabbard.
